It was like standing at an intersection. You know what to expect, yet it still catches you by surprise. The 31st time, my birthday could've been like a routine. A copy of the previous and a template for the next. Even after being so far along in the journey, the road is still unpredictable and full of surprises. The ones I thought were gone came by. It was full of new feelings to feel and sceneries to see. There's a sudden change in the wind bringing new colour to my next step. Though juries are still out to say if it's good or bad. Nonetheless, never thought in my 31st the unexpected could still come, a game changer that breaks the pattern.

I am Stefany Zefanya, an Illustrator from Indonesia. I love playing with watercolor & mixed media. My works often tell about everyday experiences and thoughts that we often encounter through objects as metaphors. My restlessness and anxiety about something is one of the triggers for me to work. I also like to describe situations that i often experience in my daily life into a metaphor.
