1965       - graduated from Primary School, Sragen, Central Java 1968        - graduated from Junior High School, Sragen, Central Java

1971       - graduated from Senior High School, Tanjungkarang, South Sumatra

1972   - used to study the Art of Sculpture in The Academy of Fine Art (STSRI-ASRI), Yogyakarta

1977 - used to teach The Art of Batik, Artist in Residence, at Pierson College, YALE UNIVERSITY, New Haven, Connecticut, and BROWN University, Providence, Rhode Island, USA

1979      - used to teach The Art of Batik at Galleri Smend, Koln, Germany


1980 - to study International Relations in Faculty of Social & Political Science, Gadjah Mada University (UGM), Yogyakarta

1987 - graduated a Bachelor degree from Department of International Relations, Faculty of Social & Political Science, Gadjah Mada University (UGM), Yogyakarta

1988 - to join as a lecturer in the Department of International Relations, Muhammadiyah University of Yogyakarta

1995 - graduated a Master degree from Post Graduate Program, Gadjah Mada University, Yogyakarta, in Cum Laude

2005 - graduated Doctoral degree from Post Graduate Program, Gadjah Mada University, Yogyakarta, with a dissertation about “1997 Economic Crisis and Democratization in South Korea, a Case Study of Industrial Relations”, in Cum Laude.

2008 - inaugurated a Full Professorship in Cultural Diplomacy, International Politics, Methods of Political Science, October 1st 2008
