"Meadow Story" is a parody of Claude Monet's work entitled "In the Meadow" in 1876. Monet sparked my vision to adapt impressionist works into surrealist ornaments. "Meadow Story" depicts a woman reading a book, accompanied by the meadow which surrounds her. She is greeted by a cool breeze as the sun's rays dance across the landscape and illuminate her book. This image of calmness and serenity is difficult to find nowadays, a tumultuous period with more and more people experiencing mental health issues.
